Goal setting helped my dad

My dad works as a bank manager and he has his own business. He usually invites his friends to come in our house and have a drink on our backyard I hear their conversation sometimes but im not really interested in business talk, Id rather watch tv instead. One time when we were sitting by the backyard while waiting for my mom to finish roasting a chicken for supper my dad started telling me the story of his life. He told me that he didn’t grew up in a house like ours, he told me his family was not reach at all and he had to work part time to support his studies. So wanting to become a better provider on his future family he tried his best to study. He practiced goal setting and worked hard to achieve all his goals he prioritized what is important other than things he just like to do that doesn’t have any effects on his future.
